Announcing "Letters of the Future" collaboration with Crypto.com

In line with the opening of the National Museum of World Writing System in city of Incheon, Korean digital artists will showcase “Letters of the Future” themed artworks.

What will the letter of the future look like? From the existing letters that were documented and spread, will the future letters be implicit and intuitive, like QR codes, emoticons, or a completely new shape? Imagination expands infinitely to fit the changing world. The formative characteristic of Hangeul is the combination of letters. Through various experiments in combining and deconstructing the letters to form another character, you will be able to discover formative beauty and wit beyond common sense.

In this “Letters of the Future” collection, invited artists are Ok-sang Lim, a major artist in Korean contemporary art, Jong-goo Kim, who works with objects made of steel, Byung-in Kang, who is recognized overseas for his works that make use of the meaning of Hangeul and the beauty of fonts, Junseo Ham, creator of ideological and immediate images, Hangeul workshop, an experimental group of Hangeul sculptures, Jungwoon, an emerging young artist, and Eunjoo Hong, a star of Korean graphic design.

In addition, 30 works selected from “2022 Incheon World Letter Design Contest” will be presented in this collection. In Incheon, where the National Museum of World Writing System is located, 30 works of clever and beautiful digital artists were selected, embodying Incheon's spirit of innovation and challenge. Through this drop on Crypto.com/NFT, we hope the artists and their wonderful works will be widely known.
