“Why do I want to connect with people?” From an early age I’ve always been told people, “You’re weird, you’re weird.” I couldn’t share what I like with others and I never felt like I was on the same page as everyone else in the world. At that time, loneliness and emptiness made me start my first work. Attempts to show them who I am became my active name. My work is inspired by subculture-based music, movies, and sports. Through the collage technique, we overlap photos and pictures to visualize the psychedelic atmosphere. For me, work is a medium for finding people like me. My artwork is nostalgic and I want to approach them. I want to share stories with each other and receive comfort through my artwork.
